Uva Ursi The plant is upto1.5m long with evergreen, glossy leaves which have a metallic- sweetish taste and are the medicinal part of the plant. Uva ursi can be found in North America, Iberian peninsula, central Europe, Scandinavia and Siberia. It is known to have antiseptic, astringent and diuretic effects on the bladder and the kidneys.
