Reishi Reishi has a dark, glossy exterior and a bitter taste. The spores are hard which make germination difficult. In the wild, Reishi can be found on just 2 or 3 trees out of 10,000.There are different varieties of Reishi, Akashbi (red), Kuroshiba (black), Aoshiba (blue), Shiroshiba (white), Kishiba (yellow) and Murasakishiba (purple).
