Andrographis paniculata

Andrographis paniculata is an erect, annual, herbaceous plant that belongs to family Acanthaceae, indigenous to India and Sri Lanka and widely cultivated in Asia. This herb is also known as King of Bitters, because it is literally bitter in taste in each and every part of plant body. Plant Description

Andrographis paniculata can grow up to a 30 to 110 cm long, has non hairy leaves, small white flowers with rose-purple spots and cultivated in moist shady areas. The stem of Andrographis paniculata is dark green in color and can reach up to the height of 0.3 – 1.0 meters. ^[1]
