| Herba Tussin is formulated to support the respiratory system. For centuries, combinations of althea, elecampane and licorice have been used traditionally in Europe as cough and bronchial teas for upper respiratory tract health. In North American traditions, combinations of slippery elm bark and wild cherry bark have similarly been employed. Herba Tussin combines these two traditions along with eucalyptus, an important Australian herb, which has been adopted into traditional respiratory formulas worldwide. The blend’s natural sweetness and demulcent quality is reminiscent of a honey licorice cough drop, making Herba Tussin easily enjoyed by adults and children alike. Honey is traditionally added to herbal cough teas.
