| Jarrow Formulas Green Maté is an unfermented Yerba Mate 5:1 extract standardized to contain at least 20% caffeoylquinic acid, including 5% chlorogenic acids. Typical Yerba Maté undergoes a fermentation process that destroys the beneficial caffeoylquinic acid. Traditionally, Yerba Maté has been used to promote energy, and recently demonstrated to improve fatty acid oxidation.
