Apply this as a fomentation, that is, we make a tea of the herbs (one ounce to the pint) and concentrate it down to one half its original volume. A flannel or cotton cloth is dipped into the solution and put on the area, perhaps keeping the area warm with Turkish towels. The tea or capsules can be used internally as well.
