Lactobacilli acidophilus (Acidophilus) is a beneficial bacteria that aids in the digestion of proteins – a process in which lactic acid, hydrogen peroxide, enzymes, B vitamins, and antibiotic substances that inhibit pathogenic (harmful) organisms are produced. Acidophilus have anti fungal properties that helps in reducing blood cholesterol levels, digestion, and also enhance the absorption of nutrients.
